Jamie Tully
Chartists 1770


Originally from Builth Wells, Jamie started in the kitchen pot washing in local restaurants when he was 14. After studying in college for 3 years Jamie worked in various establishments in the UK before becoming a private chef. Jamie has worked all over the world on luxury superyachts and in ski chalets. Jamie was also the private chef to Sheik Mohammad the ruler of Dubai for 3 years. Jamie returned home to Wales just over a year ago and is now the executive chef at the award winning restaurant, Chartists 1770 at the Trewythen in Llanidloes.  

Andrew Addis-Fuller Cambrian Training Company

Training Officer Andrew has over 30 years experience in the industry working alongside 3 Michelin star chef Michel Bras at his restaurant in Laguiole, France. He has represented Wales in international culinary competitions at home and in France and is a member of the Culinary Association Wales and an associate member of the Welsh Culinary Team. 
Currently training & mentoring young chefs for Cambrian Training, passing on knowledge and skills to the next generation of chefs & help them with their competition preparation.

Nerys Howel
Howel Food Consultancy

Nerys is an author, broadcaster and Welsh food specialist and experienced in marketing food and drink in the UK and overseas. She has written two books – Cymru ar Blat/Wales on a Plate and Bwyd Cymru yn ei Dymor/ Welsh Food By Season and is a familiar face on S4C and contributes regularly on BBC Radio Cymru and Radio Wales.

William Richards 
Cambrian Training Company

From starting his career at 2 Rosette Llanerch vineyard in South Wales to working at different venues across the country ranging from gastro pubs, 5 Star hotels and fine dining restaurants to 1 Michelin star Sauc in Barcelona. Will Now works as a Training officer at Cambrian Training delivering work based learning apprenticeships in hospitality mainly in professional cookery but also covering supervision and leadership and management qualifications forging relationships with employers to upskill the current and future workforce of the industry within Wales.

Gabrielle Wilson 
Chartists 1770

My name is Gabrielle Wilson and I’m currently doing my level 3 professional cookery qualification as an apprenticeship. I also have my level 1 and 2 professional cookery that I completed in college. I’ve competed in different completions such as Worldskills Wales and Worldskills Uk, which, I will be going on to compete in the final in November.
